Many prominent men that are sitting and standing on the steps of the Clay County’s courthouse in Spenser Iowa.
Some fun information: The Clay County courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. A Beaux Arts Classical design by Kinney and Detweiler, that was completed in 1901.
Maybe you know of the prominent men of the era (late 19th century to early 20th century), that may be sitting on the steps. They all look important to the town and holding some significant standing. Hoping it will help with town history or genealogy.
This large cabinet photos measures approx. 13.75" by 12" with board. Very good condition with some slight soiling to the board. Lower right corner bumped.
