The original town of Clearwater began as a small trading post on the north side of the Ninnescah River and was established for Texas cattlemen who were driving cattle on the Chisholm Trail. .... some fun historical history.
This is a huge funeral procession and surely carried the death of a notable person. The funeral car is very ornate, with glass or open sides to view the casket.
As can be seen, many mournful folks behind the horse pulled car. The man in front has his head very low in sorrow. I've tried to find where a important passing occurred but to no avail.
The procession carries all through the town and the bridge. On the back it states, Clearwater R & Stewart Mill. This would be the route to the Clearwater Cemetery.
Measuring approx. 5.5" by 3.5"
Very good condition with only slightly bumped corners. Just the pencil note on back. Minor tiny crease left corner.
