Some history below....
Fairmont Foods was originally founded as the Fairmont Creamery at Fairmont, Nebraska in 1884. (As stated on back of tin as well). It was one of the first creameries to give farmers their own hand cream separators in its early years. The business grew fast and left Fairmont for Omaha in 1904. In 1929 it was incorporated and began to diversify its product lines to include frozen foods, cheese and poultry products.
Measures approx. 13' tall by 10" in diameter
Such an outstanding tin. The colors are great and bright. Perfect for an advertising display or a country kitchen decor. I cannot find another out there. Note on the top of the lid it states Strawberries. This size was most likely sent to a cafe or mercantile. Perhaps they were intended for the early favorite Soda shops of the era.
This is in very good condition for the age. A small amount of paint loss here and there. Clean and rust free inside and out. See photo's to appreciate. I have not cleaned this.
