Standby Fine Foods Want Book ... rare grocer's list advertising for the Indiana Standby Co. Believed to be a 1940s era piece. Dating in pencil on a few pages shows mid-40s. Cool promotional item and very practical for both grocer's and household buyers.
Standby Fine Foods was a brand that produced various food products including spices like ginger and cream of tartar, and also tomato juice as seen on the can. Very collectible piece from a by-gone era.
Approx. dimensions: 11.5" tall by 5.25" wide when closed. Very good condition for the age. There is a hole upper left top for hanging. A small split at bottom of spine. Booklet is intact and has clean bright pages. Profit chart.Map. Vitamin chart, graphic layout of all the canned goods they sold and more....loaded with advertising graphics.
