1940s Rex Fifth Avenue Floral Bouquet Compact

Pretty Rex Fifth Avenue compact as found in estate. This collectible compact has a gold-tone metal case with a celluloid cream and floral top and lighter base. Beautiful floral bouquet on the top with roses and more, yellows, rusts, blues for color. Push-latch in front which releases the compact to open and close the case. This opens freely and well.

The compact has a mirror (which hasn't been cleaned yet) and it appears that the original powder is gone although the powder puff with Rex Fifth Avenue repeatedly displayed across the ribbon is there.

Measures approx. 4.5 inches in diameter

It is marked Made in USA on the inside band. Believed to be circa: 1940's-1950's. Nice condition for the age, some very minor wear. Great display
