A very large Elk shoulder mount that came out of a Minnesota collectors estate. This monster is vintage and as you can see, the cape needs repaired. Stored for years in the cabin after the owner passed. The story is it is from Montana and brought to Minnesota many years ago. The mount was done sometime in the 1910s. The speculation was it was graded then but we cannot varify anything as again, 2nd hand mentions.

You don't see many this size and with such girth. Showing 7 points on the left (facing mount) and 8 points on the right. Research describes this as an Imperial Elk but will leave this to the professionals.

Measurements are only approx. as taken while on the wall and I used the internet as reference on what to measure. I only hope you can imagine the heft to this beauty.
