I believe these overshoe's would have gone over a 1930s, 40s women's fashionable shoe. Rubber rain boots, galoshes, that zip over your fine shoes.These were found as-is after a long sleep in an estate, long forgotten. Never used or worn, still showing the original Inspection paper by no.135. They have a metal zipper, no brand markings on the boots that I see, and again, no wear from use.  They would be used for a low block heel.

These look to be made of rubber soles with a nylon decorative covering. The company was also well known for it's canvas and tennis shoes.
 
Original box is in good condition for the age, a bump to one corner of the box as shown in photos.

Excellent display for the companies history artifacts or women's fashion dept. Or I would imagine they could still be worn today.
