This is a beautiful little creation. I have borrowed anothers description due to the same markings and believed same maker. Usaburo Kokeshi is one of the premier producers of sosaku kokeshi, a modern take on traditional kokeshi dolls. Usaburo Kokeshi was founded by Okamoto Usaburo, who began making kokeshi in 1950. This doll is vintage, as found in estate purchase. Wonderful coloration's. The doll has a few bumps to her hair/head but otherwise in very good condition. A very nice piece to add to a collection or to give as a gift.
