A neat early, heavy cast iron sculptured doorstop in the shape of a Galleon sailing ship. Believed to be made by the Creation Co. This is a unique ship with a bird figurehead. It is showing its attractive original painted finish.
This piece would be great in a beach cottage or lake house.
American made, this measures approx. 11.5" wide, 11.5" tall and 3.25" deep at the feet.As found condition is very good, no breaks and again, heavy. Could use a light cleaning.
