Great early red painted antique wooden firkin with cover from the mid 19th century. Note I did not get the lid on straight for photos but it fits well. In very nice antique condition with minor normal wear. Fingered bands and handle with mushroom pivots. Swing handle is sturdy wood pegged. See photos.
It stands 12” tall to the top of the cover, 11.5" top diameter and 12.5" diameter at the base.
