Charming large vintage winnowing
basket.
Purpose for these types of baskets were used to separate the
wheat from the chaff. Toss the wheat into the air.
The chaff would fly away and the grain would fall back into
the basket. "Winnowing the chaff" is a common expression.
Ideal to use as a wall hanging, Holiday decorating, for food
presentation or display.
