The Tempest is often considered Shakespeare’s farewell to the stage and shines a spotlight on family relationships, justice and forgiveness.

This came in a collector's estate and with other Minnesota Guthrie Theater memorabilia. I can't say for sure it is the Guthrie this was shown at but it is wonderful theater history and looks like the actors and actresses all signed this Rehearsal dinner card. Looking up some of the names, I find they were from the Minnesota surrounding cities and towns or North Dakota etc. The star entertainer must have been Susan Davis, the photo on the right. Dated May 21, 1924. Not sure if this was the date of the play or probably the rehearsal dinner for the cast. Measures approx. 5.5" by 4.25". Excellent condition. Neat piece for the collector.
