So far as I can tell, ALL of the Hilltoppers' big hits are
on this album, since they were only in existence for a short
period from 1952 to 1957. Jimmy Sacca is the lead
tenor and sounds a bit like Al Alberts of The Four
Aces. These songs came out during this collector's
teen years and just reading the song titles brings back a
flood of youthful memories. The Hilltoppers had a
short run, but a successful one. My personal favorite
is 'Till Then'. Billy Vaughn, Jimmie Sacca, Seymour
Spiegelman and Don McGuire.
