Details

WDAY is North Dakota's oldest radio station, having first signed on in 1922. WDAY is licensed to Fargo, North Dakota.

Elwin B. McCracken was born in Iowa on March 18, 1876.  He married Bessie Gormley in Crookston, Minnesota on November 26, 1905. He started a photography studio in Buffalo,
North Dakota around 1914 and in the same year moved his studio to Fargo, ND later leaving it to his son Robert in the 1940's

This is a wonderful and rare real photo postcard of a young man, probably college age, dressed as an old codger. Titled " For Health & Happiness, Go Far Old Timer "
Along with this is a song book that I found at a later date with the photo inside showing my RPPC. These are a fun find and will be sold together. Many great early songs inside and someone at some point in history wrote the songs on the front end paper.

The Postcard is signed McCracken Studio. Note the vintage and highly collectible in today's world, microphone with the WDAY lettering. Wonderful piece of history for the State's and town of MN and ND and radio.

Very good with only slightly bumped corners, a small pin hole at top and some smudges to backside. Unposted and undivided.

Very nice condition. A few very minor spots but otherwise great. See photos for condition and email with any questions.
