This is a very
attractive and sturdy Andrew Jackson styled 3 hoop Old
Hickory marked rocking chair and a perfect piece for your
Adirondack styled home or cabin.
1st half-20th century armchair with a barrel-form and
woven back and seat, tandem stretchers. Believed to be
made approx 1930's give or take.
This chair is branded on leg with what looks to be Chair
Co. for it's center line which would make it a very early
model.
Although please note that in my opinion, the woven seat
and back appear to have redone at some early stage of it's
life. But very nicely and professionally.
Approx. measurements 32.5" tall by 28.5" at it's widest,
with a seat 14.5" tall.
Clean and very good condition for it's age. A perfect
addition to your covered porch, rustic home or cabin or
even in a contemporary setting these warm piece's add more
than conversation.
