A primitive, uniquely made 19th century antique painted pine cupboard. One piece. The top section has two cupboard doors with the original wavy early glass. Interior painted in an early white paint. Nicely molded cornice above. Inside the top section are five fixed storage shelves with one offering a generous display upper right. Two drawers on each side of a arched cubby. See the photo showing these open ... one has major munch marks but hidden when closed.

The lower half of this neat kitchen cupboard has two doors with original screen fronts. Three large unpainted shelves behind the doors. The hardware on the piece works very well and is also original. Cast iron latches that match other than top left knob. This is in very good, solid and original condition, and has an old mint green over a robins egg blue original paint finish. Back of the cupboard shows again some munching at lower bottom right. Dating from around 1870-90.

The construction is quite unique. Note the doors. I've not seen this style of construction before. The family we purchased this from thought that a great-grandfather was the builder. The paint is hard to photograph, a beautiful mint green.
