Used vintage and very cool piece that was
found in estate from a border town in Northern Minnesota.
This was used to house the mail for island residents where
resorts and home owners lived.
The postal worker would leave the mail in this well built
galvanized tin bin for pick up by boat. Because it is so
deep, surely they used a grabber of sorts. Dating to approx.
1940s.
Approx. measurements; 21" across at widest point, 6.5" deep,
26" tall.
Add tall Cat tail plants in it, dried flowers, patriotic
American flags, store things in your kitchen, garage, etc. A
crafty artist could paint something equally cool on this and
it could be a welcome to guest.
This has three open holes on the top edge of the back for
hanging. Lift top lid in the center with handle. Please
enlarge photos as they are a major part of the description.
Feel free to mail with any questions prior to purchase.
