Believe this to be portraying the Broom as in the sport of Curling. And the Thistle to be Scotland. I maybe wrong but they are perfectly charming regardless. Measuring approx. 2.2.5" long and .75 inches wide. Made of sterling silver. You can just make out the word Sterling on the back of the broom portion.
