19th c Arts and Craft miner's / naval / rr oil lamp, unmarked, height 11.25"

This has been in my collection for years. I can't find another out there so purly guessing on whether it is a Naval, miner or railroad oil lamp but there is a font and threads ....surely held a cylinder glass of sorts. Made of brass and very unique. Hoping someone out there knows of this and can help out.

Measures approx. measure 11.25" tall and 5.25" at its widest. I can't find a maker's mark but that doesn't mean there isn't one.
