19th c Art Nouveau oil lamp design attributed to Gustave Serrurier-Bovy

This has been in my personal collection for years. As found in an early estate filled with antique Scandinavian pieces. I can't find another out there, similar ones though by the designer Gustave Serrurier-Bovy. Made of brass and very unique. The pot or font is located at the top with a slender attractive body leading to the footed base. Threading is at the top for a burner. The missing burner more than likely has the makers mark. Smaller than some of the ones found and thus could have been used as a bedroom side table lamp or hall lamp. Restored, this would be a magnificent addition to any collection.

Measures approx. measure 11.25" tall and 5.25" at its widest.

This appears to be in wonderful condition. Great patina. The stance is straight and solid and I find no damage or denting.. Please enlarge all photos and feel free to email with any questions you may have. Thanks for visiting!
