A small Papago medicine or trinket tray basket. It is very solid and well made. It's made from yucca and grass. This tribe as other's are known for their beautiful and intricate baskets and weaving. There is a small breakage in the grass wrap on one end, very small. Not to be confused with the handle openings. See photos.
A hard to find basket from the Southwest. Believed to be c. 1930s or 40's. Approx. 6" long x 3".
