Here is a sweet turn of the century
beaded boot made as a souvenir. The boot is very ornate with
beads of several colors. Pretty pale pink or salmon front
and pale green back.
There is a little beaded rope for hanging and it has
an opening inside the boot. Extremely nicely decorated. Made
for the tourist trade by the Iroquois Indian.
Many were made at the turn of the 20th century when interest
in Native American crafts became popular. Most made for the
seamstress and the pocket held the needle packets or small
sewing tools.
The boot is just over 7" tall without tie and 12" with it.
Please see pictures for condition details. Great display or
addition to a collection.
