Details

Arts & Crafts landscape print by the German artist Rudolf Sieck. Inscribed "Rudolf Sieck" in the plate and signed lower right hand corner, in pencil lower left, numbered "30/150".
I can't find where this is titled and after much research do not find another of the same. What I did find was one similar with farmed fields and river which was a Landscape in the Chiemgau, upper Bavaria. Beautiful.

Rudolf Sieck (1877 - 1957)

Rudolf Sieck studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Munich. Before he became a member of the artist group 'Die Welle' and the Munich Secession, he worked for the art magazines 'Simplicissimus' and 'Jugend'.
Through his work for the porcelain manufactory Nymphenburg he became renowned for his decor designs. His landscape paintings are especially valued on the art market.

Wonderful piece for the Arts & Crafts bungalow or interior, cabin or just about any home that appreciates fine art.
Simple and detailed at the same time, this piece is one you can lose yourself in.

Size: 22" by 19.75" with frame.
