Buchoz was an 18th c. French Botanical Artist, 1760-1810
Extremely large oval exquisite lithograph botanical with a peach or salmon matt. The frame is deliberately distressed with a beautiful gold gilt with red bleeding through. The original paper is still intact and in wonderful shape on the back.
This is showing what I believe to be French and Latin inscriptions. Perfect for your Country cottage decor and would be outstanding in any room. A romantic gift idea.
Measures approx: Height: 30.5" , Width: 26.5"
The framing is hard to date, the label on the back states Juhl, Inc. (Larson-Juhl). Juhl opened his doors in 1893. This was framed in Minneapolis.
This floral botanical is naming the King of Denmark.
Purchased from an art collection, beautiful condition. A light cleaning to the glass and frame would work. Hang it and enjoy!
This will be protected by several inches of insulation and wrap to assure proper padding before I send it on its journey.
Please see photos and email with any questions prior to purchase. Thanks for looking.
