Outstanding abstract watercolor painting from I believe the mid part of the 20th century. Because of the earthy coloration, I believe this is a natural landscape.
Framed well and tight in it's original beige wood rectangle frame. Again, rich hues of greens, blues, rusts, browns etc. A sage green matting was used at time of framing.
It's hard for me to make out the first name of the signature but believe the last is Bradley. Hopefully someone will be kind enough to help me with this.
Approx. measurements; 34" by 14".
This piece was found in an estate where many wonderful pieces of art were stored for years. Some poorly. This experienced having the back torn in rough edges, see photos.
ONLY effecting the back brown paper covering and can't believe any other physical areas to be harmed. I can only imagine that the piece was transferred from one area to another often to cause this tearing.
This would be a great gift or compliment any home, any room - Mid-Century MCM lover or keep for your own art collection.
Very good condition outside of what was mentioned. Previous estate owner was an art collector.
See photos and email with any questions prior to purchase. Thanks for looking.
