The artist, Ralph Dille' (c1870-1937) was born in Indiana to a father who also was an artist. He is known for his landscape and maritime paintings. His mediums include watercolors, oils and mixed media. Beautiful antique cottage or farm scene on a off rich cream background The image measures approx. 3.5" by 7.25". Distant barn and fence with lambs on a small dirt path.

Signed in the far right corner and dated copyright 1909 - George M. Iambine Co.

This came from an art collection in the upper mid-west, the owner had many wonderful piece's from aspiring artists and students early 19th c. Showing a wonderful wooden decorative and original era frame. This painting is a small gem!
