Charming Josephine Anderson was four years old as she modeled for infamous photographer Morris Burke Parkinson, in 1897 for these darling Cupid Awake and Cupid Asleep prints. She passed away in the 1970s. These are very collectible and so very perfect for a gift or to adorn you walls.
Very attractive gold painted metal oval frames of the era, measuring approx. 8.75" by 7" with a window size of 6.5" by 4.5". You can see the dark lettering at the base of each photo stating Cupid Awake and Cupid Asleep. Estate purchase. Very nice condition with just minor blemishes to frames. One eye hanger missing from the back. I have not taken this apart.
