Old original calendar illustration
or print by Charles Relyea. Framed print of a Native
American Indian maidens in a birch bark canoe on a moonlit
night. Typical Native princess style with beautiful long
dark braided hair. A unique mention is the paddle that is
shown. Looks to be a early Mi'kmaq design. Of interest to a
few I think. Do to the artists residence in NY, it makes
sense. Beautiful coloration's in this print.

Titled lower center "'Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder'"
Numbered 5688 in left hand corner.
Measures approx.16 x 13.5 inches with frame.
Very nice as found condition. Stored for years. There is
some spotting on the other side of the glass. The print is
placed in frame not taut. I will leave the new owner to take
it apart for proper cleaning. All that I have done is the
outside glass.
The frame is very nice original 1920s - 30s era. Dark with
age and nice patina. Please view photos and ask any
questions prior to purchase.
Thanks for looking.
