This is a stunning example of a vintage 1960s figurative expressionist line drawing of a woman on her side, half finished hair with a man laying at her back. A village or town scene, with nature, perhaps a young or unborn child and flowers stemming from her front. 

The artist has evoked the emotions of small town life, desire, intimacy, and the human form so perfectly in this work. The lines are expressive and fluid, conveying the feelings being depicted. It is a beautiful and moving work of art that will resonate with anyone who appreciates expressionist art. This original vintage drawing is signed by the artist at the upper of the right corner. It is believed the piece is an early work of Viktor Tinkl of Canada. Tinkl and his wife are Canadian artists known for their unique and imaginative works.

Approx measurements: 27" tall, 32" long with a rustic wood frame. Dated 1963.

This is in good condition and as found in an estate. No glass was to protect the art and probably had to do with a small puncture mark and a little bit of discoloration bottom left corner during it's storage. As found in a collector's estate.
