A striking piece. Like her very noted 'camouflage' work, My favorite is the gnarled, expressive tree in the foreground on the cliff’s edge.

Bev Doolittle is a highly collected American watercolorist known for her detailed, nature‑driven scenes. Dramatic landscapes, and hidden imagery woven into trees, rocks, and shadows which everyone loves about her work. This has a wonderful pop of red on the Native American man standing on a cliff holding up a peace pipe with a subtle and muted earthy surround. Beautifully framed and matted, this came to us in an estate and has been stored for years. The black paper backing is intact with a few minor blemishes and the original paperwork is still with the piece. Minor tear to the pocket.

Approx. measurements with frame are 31" wide by 38" long

Very large piece that will be packed well and insured. Please be sure to ask any questions you may have. Thanks for visiting.
