Antique Oil On Canvas, Forest Creek Landscape in Morning Light Painting

 
    A beautiful original large oil on canvas painting depicting a very tranquil traditional river passage through the countryside. Dark bowing trees create the perfect scene. Very desirable with an Arts and Crafts appeal. Previous owner was an art collector but the piece has been stored for a number of years and could use a good cleaning.

Approx. size framed: 34" W x 29.5"

Believed to be very good with normal age cracks in the thick artists strokes. Again, extremely enjoyable new morning or perhaps even dusk wooded appearance.

The original decorative wood and gesso frame has an Art Nouveau feel to it. Gold gilt surface. Very large piece so shipping will be actual.
