Date of Birth: 1921 (SPAIN) -- Date of Death: 1990 (PARIS)

 Believed to be an early work of José García Ortega. Perhaps late 60's to early 70's while the artist was in exile. This is from an early estate where the previous owner, now passed, had a wonderful eye for art collecting. Beautiful coloration and excellent abstract form. Would be a fabulous addition to any art collection.

As can be seen, very low edition of what looks to be thirty of thirty, so understandably could not find any other of the same in my research. Signed in pencil. This appears to be untitled and looks to have it's original frame but would highly recommend re-framing. Beautiful print on the excellent quality woven paper made by BFK RIVES. There is some glass chipping on a few of the corners -- see photo six. Also note a small amount of soiling to the extreme bottom of the paper.
This has not been examined outside of the frame. I will leave this to the new owner. Not familiar enough to know whether this is a aquatint, etching, lithograph etc. I will rely on the professionals for this.

Approx. measurements for the frame's exterior 15.25" by 22.25".  Plate size is 11.5 x 9.5.
