Details

A period photograph, likely very early 20th century, depicting an unknown American theater troupe posing in costume with almost all of those pictured signifying a mixed early era, one wearing blackface makeup.

Approx. 5 by 7" black and white photograph of young teen's, perhaps students in a theatrical play.

Very interesting costumes but some earlier in style than others. There is an young actor with broken arm and bandages, both in bibs with a Handyman, chimney sweep with a broom, two country boys. A little boy and girl, the boy looks to have been in a fight. The four couples to the left are 1920's Flappers style, one looks like a maid. Straw hats on two suited folks....but note again, one is a girl. Cross dressing.

Excellent piece for the school theater, play or acting memorabilia. Neat gift idea for a collector of the arts or photographs.Nothing written on the back.

Very good condition with slightly bumped corners. Please read full description and enlarge all photos they are included as part of the description. Feel free to email with any questions you may have. Thanks for viewing.
