This is believed to be the Hodgdon family of Preston Lake, Renville, Minnesota.This 11.25" by 9.5 inch cabinet card has been in my photograph collection for years. Purchase a long time ago in a Minnesota estate. Beautiful family portrait.
The only writing is the name Oscar Hodgdon & Family on the back.

Family history that I can find below - Hoping this helps with someones genealogy. It appears they were on the census in 1870's in Renville, Minnesota.

Born about 1845 in New Hampshire
Son of James C Hodgdon and Sarah Hodgdon
Brother of Orrin Hodgdon, Ida M Hodgdon, Ernest Hodgdon and May Hodgdon

The first personal assessment is Boon lake township, Renville County, Minnesota was made in 1871 - J. C. Hodgdon, Oscar Hodgdon, Orrin Hodgdon.

Very good condition for the age. Board shows some soiling and scuffing. Photograph itself is very good with only light wear. There is a tear at the upper left corner that cuts into the photo slightly.
