More Information

This is a great early cabinet card that measures approx. 10 by 12 inch with the board and 8.25 by 6.25 inches actual photo.

A large steel bridge is central to the photo with eight people on the railroad tracks before it. I'm guessing these are the folks who may have
worked the depot for the town. Unfortunately no idea of what town. My best guess is somewhere near Milwaukee Wisconsin where the photographer's address is.

Note the back show - Henry Strege, 2425 Cherry St. Milwaukee, Wis.

The only Strege I find though is a young man who was tried for murder while intoxicated at around the same era. (I know...TMI!)

The people are so very interesting. Three women and Five men. Well...the young person on the far left appears to be a conductor, but so young!
Love the vintage attire. One gent has a paper attached to his watch chain for fear of forgetting something important? A pretty pond or lake is situated behind the bridge.

This photograph is in beautiful condition for the age.
