This is an original cabinet card photograph featuring what may have been reenactment of the first Thanksgiving. A boy at the far left is wearing an interesting outfit with long hair and beard. Maybe he is supposed to be the fabled Captain John Smith.
Another boy is dressed as a Native American Indian is seated cross - legged on the floor wearing moccasins and headdress. All other actors are dressed as colonists and settlers in early America.
Photographer's stamp in bottom right corner reads: E.W. Bergren Clarkfield, Minn. Clarkfield is a city in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, United States, surrounded by Friendship Township.
Measures approx. 8" x 10"
