Believed to be in front of the Clay County’s current courthouse, a Beaux Arts Classical design by Kinney and Detweiler, that was completed in 1901.
The Clay County courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. See below some of the prominent men that may be sitting on the steps.

Fabulous large cabinet photo and a great find for the town history or family genealogy. Very good condition with some slight soiling to the board. Lower right corner bumped.
