This is a beautiful antique cabinet photo of a Fosston Minnesota woman. Carlson is her last name. She and her family lived in Polk County for years. Her story is a sad one. Along with this photo is a lengthy journal that will be attached soon. Beautiful young girl here with a plumed Victorian hat and dress with ruffles and flowers. Such a contrast with her black cape and parasol. Such a vision...and such a prospective future.
