Part of a large collection of mine that I am going to sell off.
I've loved them for years, now it's time to share.
Neat photograph of a large family, seven women and 5 men. Even
though the photo is black and white you can see the clothing is
dark. Perhaps this was taken at a somber occasion such as a
funeral. Taken in Minneapolis Minnesota around 1913 and 1914 by
the photographer David Bank, Bank Brothers era. See below
information on studio:
Studio: Bank Brothers
Address: 9 South Fifth, Minneapolis,
Minnesota
Dates of operation:
1913-1914
Decades Worked in Minnesota: 1910s; 1920s
Measures approx. 8" by 10". for the photo itself and 10" by 12"
for the studio's protective folder. Brown card stock with gold
gilt lettering. Nothing is written on the back of the photo to
indicate who these folks were.
Very good condition for the age. Has been well taken care of
through the years. No issues.
