This is part of a large photograph collection that I am gradually parting with.
Rice Lake, Wisconsin Boys - Don Harrell age 14 - Charles Harrell age 15 - Jim Harrell age 10
Fabulous album, one of my all time favorites. These boys were so talented and from the looks of it had a wonderful childhood. There is carnival pictures, parade pictures, town scenes and streets, tornado damage, early 1947 bicycle, race cars and tract, snow skiing, hunting, fishing, snapping turtles, sledding, pets, family and so much more. There is what looks to be a class photo showing the children with water balloons? Or perhaps just a large birthday party. One boy, built fabulous large folk art frames depicting hunting and fishing carvings. I wonder if these still exist. They would be highly sought after for the cabin decor crowd.
There is only one cabinet photo and the rest are snapshots. There is a grave stone with the name Mallo and another next to it sadly awaiting the partners name.
Very good condition, intact. Only a few photos missing in places. The book (approx. 10" by 7" by 1") is loaded with photographs of a great era. 1940s!
