Just a fun tidbit. The 5th photo shows two civil war era men. The one on the right, when googled, states this is an image of Thomas Austin Jones 'Huckleberry'. The gent that aided assassin John Wilkes Booth. ( I really doubt this is actually him ) .... but a fun note and mention.

Dramatic album with many portraits. Civil war era to maybe 1910s. The only photos that I can carefully remove show the Galesburg, ILL, Minneapolis, Minnesota and Grosse, Wisconsin areas. No names that I could find. All cabinet photo with a few CDV's in the rear. The album in almost completely full other than the few empty carte de visite slots in the back. 

Good condition, light brown cloth with a broken beveled mirror in the center. Intact, excepting the spine issue as seen in photo next to last. The latch is a very interesting spiral adjustable nickle or brass, patented 188 - 82.   The book (approx. 12" by 9.5" by 3") and again, with 62 photographs.
