This is an extremely nice example of this photograph,
early 1900s, Albert Lea, Minnesota.
This shows a very busy street corner with fabulous old
cars, roadsters, touring's, trucks, wagons, a buckboard
and buggy. People are going to several business's
including a barber shop, hat and cap store and clothing
shop at the base of this great brick building.
Some history:
Home Investment Building, 141 East William -- This
commercial office building was completed in 1917 and
still remains the most sizable landmark of the downtown
area.
Was the Hyde Building and now the Lea Center, it
houses the local television station and the upper floors
have been converted into loft-style housing.
Beautiful condition with only very slight bumped corners.
Un-used. Un-divided.
Please see and enlarge photos and email with any
questions prior to purchase. I combine whenever possible.
