Some history below:

"Cow Town" is the name St. Paul inherited from the late 1800s through the early 1900s. The World's Largest Stockyards. It was incorporated in 1887 and the St. Paul Union Stockyards was ready for business located by the railroad tracks and the Mississippi River. South St. Paul catered to the Swift & Co. and Armour's meatpacking companies. Generating the name Hook-Em Cows, a booster club was organized in 1916 to help revitalize the St. Paul Winter Carnival. A city-side festival featuring a week of parades, ice sculptures, sporting events and other outdoor activities. They continued until WWII when many organizers and participants went to war.

Measures approx. 4.5" tall by 2.5" wide. Very good original condition.
