Quite the scene in this antique real photo postcard. Believed to be Minnesota, Iowa area.

A well to do family in what I believe to be a early Dodge Touring car. Posing on a small wooden bridge of a pretty spring.

What's so unique about this photo is the Governess, nanny or nursemaid holding the child. Even on a road trip or vacation the parents need the assistance of the caretaker.
The woman on the rocks, not looking and the camera, is dressed very stylishly. The man, also dressed well, is set for the pose without looking at the photographer.
But the Nurse or Nanny, is proudly holding her charge and even smiling, while dressed on the nice day in her uniform and hat. Again....quite the scene.

This measures approx. 5.5" by 3.5". Extremely nice condition with only very slightly bumped corners. The word Dorothy on the back in pencil. I imagine, the child's name.
