Believed to be from the 1950's or 60's, not sure.
This is one of a few that I have of the Christmas Dolls
series and other from the Enchanted Doll Museum of
Mitchell South Dakota. Some history below;
Eight years before the turn of the 20th century, in 1892
(when Mitchell, South Dakota was a small, 12-year-old city
of 3,000 inhabitants)
the World's Only Corn Palace was established on the city’s
Main Street. During it’s over 100 years of existence,
it has become known worldwide and now attracts more than a
half a million visitors annually.
This card shows what the back states as two lovely closed
mouth unmarked dolls and a German boy doll in the
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star" scene.
All antique bisque dolls. One of more than 200 scenes in
the Museum. This museum was located at 401 S. Glendale,
Sious Falls, SD and may still be in existence.
This is un-used and in wonderful shape. Some slight dust
shows in the flash but the picture is bright and bold.
Great gift idea for postcard collecting or Christmas
display.
Packed well and sturdy to make sure it arrives to
you safely. I will also combine shipping as I'm able.
Thanks for looking.
