These guys must have had a lot of fun on this day. But unfortunate for the monster tree who survived storm and other dangers. It was probably cut down. This was before any laws protected these beauty's.

The back reads "Giant of the Forest. Many huge trees are to be found throughout the western  sections of Oregon and Washington.
This specimen was a giant when Columbus discovered America and is typical of the vast areas of virgin timber which have made possible the rapid development of the great northwest."

All men wearing their colorful lumberjack wool clothing and hats. I'm thinking the two on each end may be the heads of company.
