One gallon stoneware pot or lidded jar. Two incised lines around the shoulder with an incised "1" at the shoulder.
Wonderful mottled toned coloration. Primitive Tan and Brown Crock Stoneware
Ohio is where the person I bought it from said they purchased it. Not sure where the actual maker originated.
9" by 7" by 6" at the mouth
No maker’s mark that I can find. It looks like a 1 appears to the bottom
of the crock from the original glaze color.
