This is a vintage Chinese rice bowl / pot with a lid. It's heavy pottery and showing beautiful blue hand painted markings of I believe cranes or the Phoenix bird.
This lidded piece I believe was made in the People's Republic of China. I don't know how old it is, but it seems to have some age to it.
Approx. measurements:
9.5" wide x 8" tall with lid
It is in excellent, vintage condition. There are no signs of damage, normal inclusions and imperfections that are just part of the pottery process. The bottom has three feet with an arch between each
The base and rim are a normal rough, un-glazed finish. No cracks or chips.
