Details

Believed to be made by Western Stoneware, Monmouth. Elegant mid‑century stoneware chocolate pot or tall carafe pitcher featuring a sculptural handle, ribbed body, and fitted lid. The form is both functional and decorative, with clean modernist lines typical of Scandinavian and American studio pottery from the 1950s–1960s. Finished in a warm matte ochre glaze with subtle tonal variation. Bottom mark  incised on the bottom with their signature Maple Leaf.

Approx. Dimensions: 11 1/2" tall with the lid. 6.5ʺW × 6.5ʺD .

Considered in very good vintage condition. Has been well cared for and displays beautifully. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs, or structural defects of any kind other than the bottom of the piece shows what looks to be a factory flaw. Doesn't look like a hairline. Needs a soft cleaning.  The lid fits seamlessly.
