Vintage Horsehair
Studio Pottery Bowl Southwest Raku Bowl Pot Signed
Item #: BNT3409 Our price: $69.00 |
Deeply rooted in Native American traditions, particularly among Navajo and Pueblo artisans. The folklore behind this suggests the technique was discovered accidentally when a Native potter's long hair blew onto a hot piece of pottery as it was being removed from a kiln. This is a beautiful Pot that I have had in my collection for the last 10 to 15 years. It is in wonderful condition, no chips or cracks.
Measures approx. 6.5 in. wide, 4 in. tall and 4.25 in. at the opening.
