1939 Philco TH-4 Transitone Bakelite 5 Tube Table Radio

A neat vintage Philco Transitone radio, Model PT-26, AM Band, circa 1939. "The new basic five-tube Tran­si­tone was very small in size, yet sur­pris­ing­ly sen­si­tive for such a small radio. It received the AM band only and, oper­at­ed from 115 volts, AC or DC current.

As found condition is very good, could use a light cleaning. No breaks, but the cord needs replaced. One tube is missing, front right side. Speaker is cracked. This is an original case, original knobs.
This came from an old store and the only thing I can think of is the tube was needed for another radio.
